Soul4Soul Presents Soul-Full Spring [28th April Studio 2 Parr Street 8pm]

Soul4Soul is Liverpool's only regular live soul music event. The event aims to provide a platform for up & coming and established artists and musicians. April's events features Charlie Ashdown and Christina Malley

CHARLOTTE ASHDOWN
Although her music definitely reflects the RnB genre, CHARLOTTE ASHDOWN is not your stereotypical ‘dress-to-impress’ artist.Influenced by artists like Jill Scott and John Legend, Charlotte’s niche music brings back the old-school RnB/Soul sound, but with a modern twist. Her 4-piece all male band makes the songs come to life combining groovy bass patterns, soulful melodies, strong beats and ambient guitars. Even though her voice has often been compared to powerful singers like Joss Stone, Charlotte’s vocals are hardly something you come across every day. Working hard in and out of the studio, you can feel that her heart and soul has gone into every song which you’ll find yourself humming for days on end.

CHRISTINA MALLEY
The last couple of years have been quiet for Christina but have included sharing the stage with the likes of Karima Francis, Norway's new hottest star Mikhael Paskalev and New jersey's finest songstress Allie Moss! 2013 sees the return of Christina Malley to the liverpool music scene and back to her music roots with a new EP aimed for release in autumn.

The event is on the last sunday of every month at Studio 2 Parr Street. Soul4Soul is a relaxed friendly event where artists, musicians and music lovers go to have a soul inspired conversation. Come with your friends and family- come listen, sing along, dance and let your soul be inspired.
